Step back in time for the official reopening of Museum at The Mill on Thursday 15 February, 10.30am to 4pm and join us for interactive activities and witness the magic of spinning first hand with demonstrations showcasing the art of spinning with traditional wheels and the fascinating process of transforming flax into cloth.

Unleash your inner artisan: Adults and children alike can participate in drop-in craft activities, using thread and bobbins to create unique keepsakes inspired by The Mill's history. These activities offer a glimpse into the lives of children who once worked within these very walls.

Escape the mid-term slump and embark on a fascinating and free adventure at the newly reimagined Museum at the Mill!

The Museum continues to delve into the rich history of Mossley Mill, captivating visitors with tales of the people, products, and place itself. However, a fresh perspective awaits. Hidden gems from the Council's extensive archive that includes period films, captivating advertising, and intricate mill equipment now join the existing exhibitions, offering a deeper connection to the building's fabric and a more immersive experience for everyone.
