Join us on Saturday 26 October from 5.45-9pm when Lilian Bland Community Park will be transformed for this year’s new Halloween event, Magic by Moonlight.

Hosted by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, this fantastical family evening will leave you mesmerised by the bewitching world of the little folk who make a brief appearance on Halloween to trick and treat all that they meet! Take a walk through the immersive fantasy trail around the park and be captivated by the fire entertainers and street theatre performers. Get your kids into the spirit of Halloween with wand making, pumpkin carving, mask making, glitter tattoos and sample some culinary delights from the themed food and drink stalls. Fancy dress is a must with prizes galore including best dressed dog!

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Alderman John Smyth commented,

“Make sure you wrap up warm and bring your families along to this magical evening in the heart of Glengormley. Magic by Moonlight creates a special twist on the usual Halloween festivities and is a great opportunity for some family time.”

Entry is via the Carnmoney Road entrance with last entry at 8.30pm. Please note, there will be no parking in Lilian Bland Community Park. Limited parking is available in the nearby Glengormley Library and Northern Health and Social Care Trust.
