Council Supports Young Entrepreneurship in the Borough

Student Exchange Programme to America Gets Green Light for 2022

Students will soon be invited to apply for the 2022 Gilbert Sister Cities Student Exchange Programme. The programme offers two students, aged 16 and 17, from Antrim and Newtownabbey, and two students from Gilbert, Arizona, the opportunity to spend six weeks living with each other next summer. With half of the time spent in Antrim and Newtownabbey and the other half in Gilbert, Arizona, the lucky students will learn about each other’s home country and way of life through a family living experience.
