The Council’s Oil Stamp Saving Scheme helps you budget for home heating oil by purchasing £5 oil stamps.
Do you rely on oil to heat your home? Buying home heating oil can be a costly purchase, especially around Christmas. The Council’s Oil Stamp Saving Scheme helps you budget for home heating oil by purchasing £5 oil stamps. The stamps are then placed on a savings card for you to use as payment or part payment for oil at any of the participating oil companies.
Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Billy Webb said;
“Buying heating oil in small quantities costs householders more per litre compared to larger quantities of oil. The scheme is a great way of budgeting and spreading the cost of oil throughout the year, as well as helping householders get a better price for purchasing more.”
