Neighbourhood Watch
Neighbourhood Watch schemes are delivered in partnership between local residents, PCSP and Police to tackle crime, fear of crime and Anti-social behaviour. Antrim and Newtownabbey PCSP would encourage residents to consider establishing a Neighbourhood Watch scheme in their area if one does not already exist.
- To increase capacity of local communities through the Neighbourhood Watch Scheme.
- Mapping of existing NHW and identifying hot spot areas with no coverage.
- Providing support for the existing scheme and promotion of new Neighbourhood Watch schemes.
- Promote and deliver the ‘Text Alert’ scheme
