Randalstown Plants Their Bid for Community Garden

The multi-award winning town of Randalstown is applying to the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) to fund a Community Garden grant worth up to £50,000.  This application by Tidy Randalstown, is being supported by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council for the garden to be created in the viaduct area of the town. The garden located at one of the main entrances to the town, will provide an inclusive and welcoming space for everyone in the community to enjoy.

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council have been awarded a Platinum Award, the highest level, in the 2021 Northern Ireland Environmental Benchmarking Survey.  This award recognises and rewards organisations that are going above and beyond their legal environmental requirements.
